How to prevent Lightroom from crashing every time I click Preferences
I just updated Lightroom 64bit on Windows 8. The first thing I do is to set the preferences and add my presets, and as I went to Edit > Preferences it crashed. I thought the install wasnt proper and tried re-installing but it did that again. I searched online, a few places they mentioned removing the preferences file but that didn’t work as well. Eventually I found this on Adobe’s site itself:
- Choose Control Panel > Region > Additional Settings > Numbers > Digit Grouping.
- Change the number format from 123456789 to any other format (for example, 123,456,789).
- Click Apply > OK.
- Open Lightroom.
- Choose Edit > Preferences.
Before you go…
