
Photo Walk to Kofuku-ji
Mani’s got classes today, so I ran off by myself to take a closer look at the beautiful temples of Kofuku-ji, some of which are said to be from as early as 700 CE.

We take a walk down Nara’s incredible Deer Park. The park is home to hundreds of freely roaming deers. Walk among the sweet younglings in the green meadows. And don’t forget to pack some Shika Senbei, They love em!

I head up to Rinku Town in Osaka, where Mani stayed during her scholarship some 5 years back. We take a ride on the giant Ferris Wheel and experience a thrill like none before

Some of my favorite shots taken using the new Nikon 80-400mm 4.5-5.6 VR on the Nikon D7100. I found the VR to be really helpful while taking handheld, dusk time photos.

The beautifully landscaped and manicured Lodi Gardens along with its magnificent tombs creates a charming atmosphere. The park provides a quite get away from the noisy life in the middle of Delhi. And for those willing to listen, the walls of the tombs, they tell the stories most interesting.

In my search for peace in the wilderness, I head out on a trek to Mullayanagiri, the highest peak in Karnataka. With the Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary only a few kilometers away, the area is rich in exotic birds and varied in wildlife.
