Devanahalli Fort is one of the rare forts in Karnataka to be built on flat ground. Because of this very structural weakness it has seen many rulers since the 1500’s. On a breezy Friday morning, I head out to Bhoga Nandishwara, a 1200 year old temple in the outer reaches of Bangalore. Commenced by Queen Ratnavali of the Banas in around 810 CE, it is still an active temple with a number of ceremonies including marriages held at its premises every year.

Bannerghatta hills is a small hillock that is pretty easy to hike and hosts a lovely temple at its peak. Amid its natural surrounding and beautiful sunlight, I am going to try to get some practice for my photography.

Talacauvery, the birthplace of the sacred river Cauvery, is located 44 km from Madikeri, on the slopes of Brahmagiri Hill. Besides being a pilgrimage center, Talacauvery is known for its natural beauty.
